For developers

Connect TraceDrawer with your own instrument

Our long experience from working with various biotech companies tells us that we are not alone in needing an evaluation and summary software. TraceDrawer can complement the product portfolio of many manufacturers of equipment that monitor real-time events (OEM). TraceDrawer is therefore engineered as a generic tool, capable of handling real-time data from virtually any source. In this way, the open innovation platform TraceDrawer is a cost-effective evaluation solution for small and medium-size instrument producers.

Let us adapt TraceDrawer to your instrument

Regardless of if you are in the early prototype phase or have had it on the market for several years, TraceDrawer can be a key component for your instrument to complete the analysis experience. How much you want to be involved is up to you as we offer TraceDrawer at several levels, from generic licenses to custom-made solutions.

Dedicated file formats for one-click evaluations

TraceDrawer can handle regular text files with x/y data, which may be sufficient in many cases. However, to get access to the full power of TraceDrawer we recommend a deeper connection with your instrument control software, including a dedicated file format. Your results may then be accurately annotated for automatic transfer of experimental information, which greatly facilitates data evaluation with the option of making it fully automatic. Additionally, we can adapt the data import step to include pre-processing options such as reference subtraction, curve alignment, curve splitting and DMSO correction.

Add-on functionalities

The versatility of TraceDrawer is usually more than enough for our customers, but there have been occasions when they require tools that do not yet exist. To meet such needs, we are open for making new custom-made modules. These are typically exclusive for one instrument for a time-limited period and then available for others as add-ons.

Branding

Want to make a clear visual connection between your instrument and TraceDrawer? Let us brand TraceDrawer for you with your company logo, website address, support email, etc.

Fitting settings

There are currently two generic versions of TraceDrawer: a biophysics version and a cell assay version. These contain fitting settings that we believe are relevant for the respective needs, but it is possible to fine-tune these default parameters to facilitate for your users and ensure an optimal analysis.
